Crime scene (ABC 4 News) |
Witnesses tell the Utah Highway Patrol that a Dodge Dakota truck went off the right side of the road a little after 6 p.m. Wednesday, then overcorrected, rolled two and a half times and caught fire.
Darrell Gardner and his 48-year-old father James F. Gardner were pronounced dead at the scene.
Both were wearing seatbelts.
Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Dan Ferguson tells The Spectrum that speed and reckless driving weren't factors, and the crash is still under investigation.
